Team Charter

Before starting into our design project, our team established a team charter which acted as an agreement between us of our commitment to the project. Our team charter identified our personnel & stakeholders, roles & responsibilities, mission & vision objectives, along with our internal checks throughout the project. Our team remained committed to this charter and we shared many of the responsibilities to make the best project we could.
Project Schedule

In order to keep our commitment to the project on a manageable and appropriate timetable, we developed a project schedule which outlines our team meetings, our task progressions, as well as all of the deadlines we needed to meet. We generally remained committed to this schedule but made adjustments as needed.

Milestone 1 Worksheets
Product Design Specification Draft
For our first milestone, our team put together our first draft of our product design specification (PDS), which is a document detailing the requirements we must meet in order for our proposed design solution to be successful.

Idea Generation
As a team, we performed a concept/idea evaluation where we gathered everyone's different product ideas and ranked them based on the criteria we brainstormed from our product design specification. We ranked our ideas and decided to narrow our idea to something along the lines of water administration for our client Ryan.

Above are the two Ideas that I came up with. One of them is a joystick which would help Ryan use an on-screen mouse and keyboard, the other idea is an attachment to his wheelchair which will make him more independent in drinking water throughout the day. The page to the left is our idea generation sheet. We tried to come up with as many ideas as possible and the method we used was brainstorming.
