Team Charter
Before getting a roll on our design project, our team established a team charter which acted as an agreement between us of our commitment to the project. Our team charter identified our personnel & stakeholders, roles & responsibilities, mission & vision objectives , along with our internal checks throughout the project. Our team remained committed to this charter and we were able ultimately to fulfill our mission and vision
Project Schedule
In order to keep our commitment to the project on a manageable timetable, we proposed a project schedule in the form of a Gantt chart which outlines our team meetings, our task progressions, as well as all of the deadlines we needed to meet.

Objectives & Constraints
In order to come up with a solution to our patient's problem, we had to gather crucial information pertaining to the management of our medical device (ostomy pouch). We identified a set of objectives and constraints which were specific to the needs of our patient, Salwa Al-Nasseri. While gathering our information, we referred to medical professionals, ostomates, the internet, and McMaster's online databases. This milestone was crucial in allowing us to find a solution to our problem under very specific conditions.
Milestone 3 Worksheets
Concept Generation
To begin the process of concept generation for our design, each of us studied our patient's case and independently designed a unique preliminary sketch of a proposed design that we see feasible. The photo to the left is my own preliminary sketch.
After sketching our preliminary, we gathered for a group discussion where we discussed the advantages and disadvantages of each member's generated design concept. We discussed the extent to which our concepts did or did not align with the objectives and constraints we determined in the first milestone. The photo to the right shows the alignments we discussed.
Milestone 4 Worksheets
Design Configuration
After discussion of our individual concepts, we collected our ideas to actually begin configuring our design. We described the primary and secondary forms and functions, conceptualized a unique prototype, and we described how user-device interaction would possibly work.
We created a series of detailed sketches & schematics which describe the forms and functions of our proposed concept.
After some sketching and discussion of forms and functions, we began to identify potential materials that we could implement int our conceptualized prototype. We discussed fabrication and assembly.
Finally, we spent a fair amount of time discussing user interaction and its significance. We discussed modifications and revisions necessary for implementation
